Matrix have provided us with a first class level of service in all aspects of creating and managing our website. The site design itself is amazing and unique and captures the spirit of the festival perfectly. it's far better than we ever imagined could be achieved. On a day to day basis Matrix are always at the end of the phone or email to help and assist with problems and queries or to rapidly update the site as needed. Hosting
Matrix provides a robust managed hosting service for the Isle of Wight Festival.  The public attention that surrounds the festival saw traffic levels soar these year.  Matrix seamlessly migrated the website to it’s own dedicated server, to ensure that the site could continue to grow.

Design and Build
The updated design and build for 2008, introduced a simpler site, more focused on delivering information to users.  The Info section carries vital information about the festival for those coming, and a huge amount of historical information has been gathered about every band to have ever played at an Isle of Wight Festival.

Flash Animation
We have used elements of Flash to add life to the website, with the dynamic news feature on the homepage.  The History flash feature allows users to scroll through the years from 1968 to 2008, selecting bands and viewing previous items of merchandise.

Content Management System (CMS)
To a large extent Matrix manage the site on a daily basis, but there is a CMS system to populate news stories into the website.

Online Community
A busy forum and regular email updates have managed to build up an online ‘community’ of around 15,000 people, regularly interacting with the site.

Email Marketing
Email updates are regularly sent to 18,000 subscribers, announcements new bands (sometimes exclusively to subscribers first), and getting important information and offers out quickly
