Google Analytics
Our preferred tool to analyse the performance of a website is Google Analytics. This is a free service provided by Google. We embed a small piece of code throughout your website, and then have the ability to track how users use your website in great detail.
Analytics allows us (and you) to see the visits and page views on your website, monitor how sticky your site is, and how many people leave the site immediately. You can also see how people find your site (which search engine and which search terms), what content was most popular and how they moved through the site.
Goals can be set, for example an enquiry or purchase, to give you a very accurate measure of your sites success versus the money you may be spending to promote the website.
